Bradley Crossing Commons
In 2017, New Eden was asked to envision a green space in the center of the new residential development, Bradley Crossing in Brown Deer, Wisconsin. The development is for low-income and disabled residents. Previously, the space had been planned for a community center building. The owners, Jewish Family Services realized that the community would be better served by a multi-use green space. New Eden held feedback workshops with the community and project stakeholders. The design reflects the community input with an entry pavilion structure for shelter and shade, a paved oval walking path, central lawn space for community activities and games, community gardens, and an accessible playground for all children of Bradley Crossing. The Development residents look forward to activities such as movie nights, cookouts, gardening, and play space for children.
